WELCOME TO EVERYTHING POP CULTURE

Greetings World,

This has indeed been a long time coming. I first planned to begin a blog a couple years ago with my former business partner but the timing wasn't right. I retreated for a while and instead decided to begin putting all of my energy into throwing events in my hometown. Aside from college & my multimedia company, I was devoted to throwing the best parties that my city had ever seen. I did all of the leg work necessary to ensure that every aspect of the venture ran smoothly. I even collaborated with my younger brother, who has his own model management company as well, to throw said events. And so we threw our 1st one...... & it was a success, in a manner of speaking. We lost a little money, but people knew about us & what we were doing, etc. So it actually ended working out for me in my business. I began to get jobs based off of people I'd met at the party.

Additionally, I began to wonder about taking my concept of customized parties from adults and business professionals, to kids. The main reason was due to the lack of sponsorship issue we ran into while planning to throw the same type of events that I mentioned earlier: the greatest the city, or the region, for that matter had ever seen before. So I went back to the drawing board & devised a proposal & marketing plan for the kid parties. I actually was warmly welcomed by my metropolitan community. I started out with small dance workshops, and progressed to full fledged dances at local elementary and middle schools. Let me also mention that these kid events are fundraisers for local children's program's. I do receive a fee for services rendered, but its a small portion of the actual intake from each event. I partnered with my father, because he'd recently gained access to one of the school's gym, for free.

So long story shortened, things worked out, & I'm still doing them. However, I've branched out & I now offer event planning/promoting/hosting as part of my company's list of services.
I said all of that to just iterate that I've come full circle with my original plans to create a blog. I wrestled with whether or not I really wanted to do it, because if I do anything it has to be well executed, and of the absolute highest level of quality possible. I didn't know whether it would be daily, weekly, whether I'd just focus on one thing or several things, etc, so on.

Obviously I've made up my mind, and the plan is to post daily, and focus on everything pop culture, meaning movies, tv, music, fashion, politics, & whatever world events happen to catch my attention.

Also included will be trivia, questions based off of certain events, polls, video blogs (vlogs), podcasts, contests, voicemail servicing, & celebrity interviews... as soon as I get them. lol.

Thank you for reading this insanely long post, and definitely do us both a favor & stay tuned to my blog, tell your friends, & tell them to tell their friends, and so on, until we crash this m*^&#@ f!/+^$ site. I promise it will be worth your while.

Rest assured that I will always keep it real, as objective as I can, leaving the subjectivity up to you as subscribers. My place is to arouse debate & I love playing that role.

Til we meet again, Be Blessed, Be Prosperous, Be Careful, Be Good, & Be You
